Got an offer for a mid level engineer. How negotiable are RSUs? They’re offering 10k rsu. Still time to negotiate, any help would be appreciated! Base pay 135k, what’s the avg base pay for mid levels? In nyc with 4yoe #strava #software #negotiateoffer #negotiation #offer
Did they tell you how much the value of rsu?
They're private company and it's probably 10k shares of option
Yeah they do, I’d stay away from sharing that but it’s def not enough. I’m just trying to understand the industry standards for RSUs considering a 135k base pay. Also how easy is it for a company like Strava to give more RSUs?
Did they offer a bonus? I’m considering an offer but no bonus mentioned: just good benefits and RSUs
Ok salary, meh RSUs, no bonus. This is unfortunate. I’d love to work on the product but looking for a big bump in TC on my next move.

A lot of people here serve money and not God
I'd say ask for 160+ base for 4Yoe, some new grads are offered ~135 base now
Hey! Interesting, they seem to have a scale for the pay depending on levels (120k, 135k, 155k). I stand in the middle, don’t know if I can stretch it out as much. What do you think? I was gonna go with 150k + 20k rsu
Every company's RSU structure is different too right? Do they have a RSU scale? Doesn't hurt to ask. If you think this company will go public in the near future, more RSUs would make a lot of sense.
