https://techcrunch.com/2023/06/19/hackers-threaten-to-leak-80gb-of-confidential-data-stolen-from-reddit/ In the latest development of the Reddit Saga, BlackCat claims to be responsible of a February cyber attack which contained "employee information and internal documents". They are "demanding $4.5 million in exchange for deleting the stolen data and for Reddit to withdraw its API pricing changes". It appears that Reddit is highly unlikely to pay, so the data is likely being leaked. How would this affect Reddit's decision around its API and their IPO? #tech #reddit
The real question is - how do I short the Reddit IPO?
Will it show that most of the powermods and mods of antiwork and work reform are unemployed by choice?
Reddit is the only moderated porn site on the web and thus I will continue to use it come hell or high water
