In my 1 to 1 my senior manager asked me if there were any pain points I said it's been over an year since I joined and there is no development going on in the team no one knows the code and what's happening in the project I asked him if it's possible to set up a KT session from HQ or SRIB who knows the code it would be great. And he straight away said forget it we cannot request HQ to give sessions And I agree that we don't have documentation but you need to work it out on your own and help the entire team (I have 2 YOE) and then he said your performance for the first quarter is not upto the mark. I want to see the change from today onwards Let me know if he is right ? Because I am unsure how to react to this The domain is completely new to me and I have no idea about the code, and it's not just me the entire team has no idea about the code [Background]: I am the only SWC pro member in the team, and I am the only member in the team amongst new joiners who went to Korea and I am the only member who made an actual commit by doing code changes. I have worked in Samsung and there is not much learning in the company. It would be better to move to some other company as going to Korea won't help your career.
Thinking same! But I am like there is hiring freeze and I don't want to get trapped in hire to fire scenario
