Just got a hand injury over a dumb accident. Doctor has recommended a week's time off to recover. I have a few offers lined up and I was planning on accepting one of them this Monday. Should I tell the recruiter about my condition? I planned on starting in at least a month, which is about the time the doctor told me it would take to potentially fully heal, but she kinda told me it was too early to tell at the moment.
Happened while beating your meat ?
Yep 2fast2furious
“I’ll accept the offer, for the start date I might need to push it back a week because I just had a minor hand injury so I could use the rest time”
Yea this is a reasonable answer. Not sure why anything else is needed?
Thanks for advice :) I think I'll still tell her but remain vague until I get more information.
If you have the offer in hand, you can discuss the start date with the recruiter/manager.
Yep, they seemed pretty flexible with my start date for the most likely company I plan on joining.
Lol it's just a small hand injury.. it's not like you're disabled for life
