Have you heard of Harvey Mudd college? How would you rate it for STEM undergraduate courses? #meta #google #apple #netflix #nvidia #amazon
Harvey Mudd is literally the Cooper Union of the West Coast. Arguably second-best school in California, only behind Caltech (is it behind Caltech?) and rivaled by Stanford. Focused on undergrad teaching and offers decent merit aid.
🤡🤡🤣
I have had two coworkers who are Mudd grads, they were competent and not snotty about it. Can't say the same about Stanford people.
I have one coworker from there, same.
Poor man's Caltech
Top top college
Stanford / Caltech / Berkeley better
I went to Berkeley & would’ve taken Harvey mudd over it any day. Much better school
Great places to learn cheating.
Most people won’t have heard about it since they don’t give doctorates and are not on the same rankings as the other top places
The same people haven’t heard of Cooper Union either. Usually first gen college students or from working class family.
Overall I would say the awareness is more regionalized especially for STEM over the more traditional STEM powerhouses
Right at the top. One of the very best. Your poll doesn’t have a suitable option
Better than MIT
Easily one of the best for STEM. I'd prefer to go there over nearly every other top school in the US-- better cultural fit.
Is that like top colleges in US like William Mary?
