Has IBM done another round of layoff this week ??

I know that last week many in Finance, Operations, Marketing & CIO office were impacted including colleagues from some European centers. Has then been another round this week where IBM Consulting has been impacted? #IBM #Layoff

I can see a bunch of openings on their careers page. I was thinking about applying but not sure now. What are your thoughts since you're already in? Is IBM planning to get rid of some SWEs as well?

I have here more than a decade and have seen IBM going to the dogs. It started when Ginni took over and has continued downhill since. Frankly you can apply and join as long as you get a good hike, but dont expect anything more later and you will be happy. Use the IBM pay hiketo get better opportunities elsewhere. IBM does not care about its employees anymore, period.
