I'm currently in Europe. I have an American (T-Mobile) cellular network I use. Every time I use cellular to login into Facebook it shows Tijauna Mexico as a login location. If I use wifi it's fine. I cannot explain it. How does an American carrier while I'm in Europe log in through Mexican IP? If anyone works at Fb, maybe they can explain it?
Some mobile operators have something like NAT for roaming. For example, when I had a Singapore sim card and traveled to other countries, I still had a Singapore IP. With other operators I had a local IP.
Yes, but I have a card from USA, why Mexico then?
Are you really thinking that all ip addresses have a specific region location? Are you really thinking that your traffic can’t be proxied through Mexico?
I know it can, but it's so unlikely
