Hashicorp was valued at ~$5B in their latest funding round. Assuming they will hit public markets Q4 21 or Q1 22, what would be their potential valuation. There is no public record of their ARR but going by some blind threads, seems to be between 250M-300M USD. I am looking at companies like elastic, cloudera, mongodb etc as reference to their valuations in the public markets. Do add comments for the valuation. #ipo #hashicorp
surprised the private valuation is that low!
Why would you think so, they have long way to ipo and still working their way out to find out a billing model for their open source products.
What Amazon said. Hashi has great OSS products, but they don't pay the bills. Some paid versions are doing well, others are still early on in their journey to commercial viability.
Hm. What does it mean for potential IPO share price?
$13B as per the new today.
Seems like the collective intelligence played out well - https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2021-12-09/hashicorp-is-said-to-price-ipo-above-range-at-80-a-share?s=09
How's hashicorp? Do you recommend working there? How does it compare to the other big names?
Could we connect regarding an open role at Hashicorp?
Elastic is at 7B, mongo is trading at 18B in this crazy bull market. Guess it cannot move beyond 15B range, 10B seems like a practical number.
You win
Lol. This post aged well
