Headcount review @ Google

Hers my situation I was I. The interview pipeline @Google since couple of months f. Finally they scheduled it last Friday in a quite unusual manner . They only set me up for 2 rounds that day unlike 5 round . The recruiter emailed me today if I am flexible to chat with no mention of offer . I took the call and was told that the feedback was positive however they are going in to review the headcount . If there is any headcount increase they will keep in touch and again set up a refresher call along with rest of the 2 or 3 rounds. They also mentioned that my current interview feedback is valid for 6 months. Need your inputs on what to make out of my situation and if it makes sense to follow up with recruiter after how many days ?
