What's the path look like from going on as a risk analyst at a hedge fund to becoming a partner or being knowledgeable enough to raise for my own hedge fund?
What path did the people running your fund take? Or the people close to the top? Follow that. Is risk highly regarded at your company? If not, it's doubtful you'll be "knowledgeable enough" to raise your own fund.
