What’s it like working on tech roles in hedge fund like citadel, de Shaw, etc? Some recruiters are very aggressively reaching out on LinkedIn even over weekend, punching in timelines asking for some questions, resume, etc? Not sure if this is a red flag?

How is the ML or LLM work like
Depends on what type of ML work Trading model: god work, all PHDs in team and I’m pretty sure they make a few million dollar per year by tweaking a few parameters. LLM: just integration work. These fund are not training their own model, they just buy the model from Microsoft / Google / Meta and then set up some feedback loop and data pipelines
