Apple's TC for first couple of years would be lower and Sony has more cash upfront but no RSUs. The RSUs refreshers at Apple will make the deal financially better in later years (Year 3, 4). Long term would like to be on managerial path. What would you advice to pick for career and financial growth? Current TC: 180k and 10.5 yoe

Sony has no RSUs and haven’t included the performance bonus in both offers’ TC.
It is a great time to join Sony. They do have great performance bonuses. Worked there many years ago. Culture is good. Politics was bad, but I blame my boss for putting me and team in awkward, adversarial position.

As ict4 at Apple you can get up to ~150k per year if you perform well (and well, much lower or nothing if you don’t). So TC would go up in the first 3 years as you pile up RSUs. Ict4 => m1 is a lateral move.
