Help me choose the best offer
I have 2 offers currently. Both provides same TC and AVP role, help me choose the best option. Barclays or State Street. Current TC - 125K Offer TC - ~200K Experience - 10+ years #tech #FinTech

Barclays for sure from a culture standpoint. State Street is worse for sure. Can’t speak for tech stack and ongoing projects though.
What AVP pays only 200k ?? Howz that possible
Banking titles are different than tech. This comes up in every thread.
Honestly surprised an AVP role is 200k all in. Should be more like 110 + 40 bonus
Would not recommend SS. Terrible tech stack. My grip is migrating to git from Perforce. Avg unit test coverage is 9%. As a developer you can't get write access to your S3 buckets (in dev/qa not just prod). Idiots who have never worked with cloud are defining policies. In last 1 year we have completed amount of work I would've done in about 4-5 week if I had a free rein. Nothing live in QA.
