Hello Blinders, I always liked Stanford and enjoyed their online courses. I am a Machine Learning Engineer and wanted to move Bay Area. Could you please help me with refferal or anything to get a job in Machine Learning at Bay Area. I am aware about living expenses and crowded environment of Bay Area but I love my field more and wanted to be near Stanford as soon as possible. Thank you for helping. Sincerely, A Dreamer
Just move and apply to as many companies as you can if you believe that you are capable and competitive.
The problem is I am on H1B visa and can't stay unemployed. I applied online but hard luck. I got call from Google and cleared the phone interview. I got rejected on-site. I believe I did good in Machine Learning round but I got failed to answer algorithm question. I am applying online but hardly get call from companies.
I understand your pain. I'm sailing in same boat. Even I got rejection just because of the location I'm from, mid west. Recruiter told they don't have budget for that.
