Help on the way to go!

Hello, I’m a 30 year old international who arrived the United States recently, leaving my fair paying Job to pursue a masters degree in information technology here in America. I’m learning to code in python and learning to use tableau as well. I’m considering options in Business Intelligence and Data Analytics for now. I need advice on how to go about preparing myself strategically for well paying employment after graduate school, what I need to learn, how to learn it, and the right path to take in my journey in a foreign country.
