Help with interview prep and referral
Airbnb is one of the companies I am very sincerely considering for me next career move. Would appreciate if folks can guide me through their interview process - like FB emphasizes on system design, amazon has bar raiser, etc - does Airbnb have something of that sort? Do I need to focus on some areas more than other? Also would love it if someone can make a referral. I can share my profile, experience and relevant details for you to have confidence that I'd be a good fit. Hoping to start me preparation very soon. This is for a Software Engineering role.
Core value interviews..
We have the core value interviews as our special thing, but the leetcode-ish interviews are usually the thing that weeds people out, along with system design. The difference in our leetcode interviews is that you will have your own computer and need to produce working code that solves the problem we give you.
So no white boards? Plus is it an open book style? Meaning do I have access to Internet or so? Thanks!
I let you look up basic syntax stuff in the interview. Googling the question is an obvious no no. No whiteboards. You will code on an actual machine. We ask you to bring your own laptop if possible.
