Recruiter pinged me about a role at Here Technologies. It’s in Partner Management and does seem interesting. I just don’t know much about this company. I’m currently at Amazon as a Principal Tech BD Manager. I’m a bit tired of the Amazon grind and wondering if Here Technologies: 1) is a reputable company (i.e. if I decided to leave Here in the future would FAANG look favorably on the experience) 2) has a good product (they boast large tech customers and engagement in emerging technologies like Autonomous Driving, AgTech, etc) Is any of this legit? 3) Can pay real$$ Recruiter there says they can get into the 300s My current TC is: $335 You only get to leave Amazon once so would appreciate any guidance from the blind community. Thanks everyone #bizdev #heretechnologies #here #amazon

1) Yes, sort of. The company has been in business for decades. Obviously, Here doesn't compare with actual FAANG companies in terms of prestige, or other Silicon Valley unicorns. Just take a look at the reviews on Glassdoor or Blind. I'm not a recruiter at FAANG either, so take that with a grain of salt. 2) AFAIK, yes the company has a decent product and has some large tech customers. There is a struggle to keep the company competitive though, and continual changes in direction make that challenging. 3) I have no idea. That's far above my pay grade.
