Tbh, the data sharing afaik is not true. This is all just political.
100% true and part of why I left
Its so official and taking place every day! They just send queries for data from usds and you pass it to the global team through lark. I tried to bring it up to hr but no one is giving a f, and they will get retaliatory if you push.
Really? In my experience I had the reverse experience. When I ask usds to run basic queries with no identifiable data they sit on their hands and refuse to do anything.
They were acting like usds is separate and access to us data is important until last April/may. Since then data sharing has been a routine experience. Nobody even cares about so called “protected” data. In my team most business is lead by china/ global team and you will get in trouble for resisting such practice.
Paywalled. Can you summarize the article?
We have a TTP region to deploy sevices that serve “protected customers”. Wild part is when the legal team find out that we can’t deploy those shit services for those protected customers, we just deploy those services outside of TTP instead of getting rid of the illegal part. It’s just a show
When you cannot even find enough of people who you are currently paying to support the idea that you are not passing US data to Chinese gov^^^
Wow I’m so surprised
