TC > 600k (not a Bloomberg) Net worth: 400k Age 34 (I started a bit late) I’d like to leverage my high (relatively high?) TC for investments such as a house (single fam/multi-fam), positive cash flow business, etc. Specifically, to get loans with little to no cash down, other incentives, etc. Any recommendations on what opportunities exist out there, locations (to buy property), banks that support my situation, etc.? #amazon #citadel #uber #apple #jpmorgan #citi #goldman #bankofamerica #bloomberg #lyft #salesforce #capitalone #personalfinance #investments #meta #facebook #google #netflix
Is it all cash
Multi dwelling units are in high demand because there are not enough rentals for the number of apartment seekers.
Sure. Go get 0 down real estate and pay 12% interest and fees. Then it doesn’t cash flow.
Why is your net worth low? Do you have debts? If so you need to resolve that. Debts before investing before leverage
No debt. Just high expenses living in NYC and helping family.
$400k is low net worth now Jesus Christ blind
If you cant name the company which you are currently at, could you tell us the space you are in ? Do you have a PhD? Is it a hedge fund?
What’s do you do to get such high TC
Everybody is jumping into Multi Family business right now and there are more and more MF buildings are being constructed(check the latest building permits report). I am just staking out until the pond is dry to see if it’s worth fishing. I am late to the lake and the nets are everywhere.
For people voting for multi family or dwelling (what’s the difference ?) - how is it working out for you ? Is it relatively easy to generate cash flow ? Which areas are you investing in ?
Is your skill set being a landlord? You’re going to make the most money doing what you are best at/the highest possible monitization point for your time. Invest the rest in a diversified portfolio based on your risk tolerances. People can make a lot of money in real estate, but to do that it can easily become a full time job/a full time job’s worth of headaches. If you want to do that more power to you, but its not a set it and forget it strategy.
