Hey all, I’m an NYC based engineer with 1-2 years of experience looking for a new role in anything backend or fullstack. I’ve worked at Meta (laid off from team downsizing last year) and a startup most recently. I graduated in 2022. I’m also open to roles outside of NYC if your company is hiring, but would really love to stay in the city since I’ve established my life here. I’m open to pretty much anything! Banks, startups, insurance, defense, what have you. I’m finding it tricky to find roles for which I qualify, as most either entry level ones want fresh grads and most mid-level ones ask for 2-3+ yoe.
apply to stripe, datadog, asana

Do people underestimate E6 role at meta?
Sorry to hear about the lay offs but apply for entry level roles, 1 to 2 years is not mid level.
Thanks for the advice. I know it’s a stretch but there are so few entry level positions
What is mid level? Senior is 5+ if you’re doing it right.
