Anyone with experience at Hitachi Ventara? Very little information on levels fyi. Curious about their bonus. Whether they are usually paid out and how much Current salaries for Senior Engineers (DE / SWE) Work/life balance? Probably depends on team but any insight would be appreciated Anything you wish you would have negotiated? #hitachivantara #hitachi #hitachicompensation
I worked at HV , a mixed bag experience. Most managers are incompetent - juniors growing in house or old style Indian managers with heavy top down expectations. Projects are legacy ones, not much innovation in software / using up to date technology
Recently Recruiter reached out on linked there its Lead DE/Data Architect once scheduled meeting there Sr DE once asked why this discrepancy she was confused internal designation Archival bt cant hire as need to pay more! Hiring managers seems confused what they need! Stay away !
I worked at HV for a couple of years. Very team-dependent on pay and expectations (huge company composed of many smaller acquired companies). Very slow innovation. Super chill WLB. I was not paid in any stock but did get 20% bonus annually and 205k salary as a senior developer/architect. That was in 2018. Salaries are not therefore competitive with tier 1/2 companies. Reasonable benefits and “unlimited vacation” (I took five weeks a year without any issue). Bonus was usually paid out at 100-110% the years I was there, but in challenging years expect 70-80% would be my guess.
