Why is it so effing hard to say thank you to the person in front of you that holds the door open for you? Don’t you have common courtesy or been taught manners?
Let that door close, women and men now want to be viewed as independent and it’s insulting to do something for them.
Thank you for asking! God, what’s wrong with people?! I moved from mid-America to the Bay Area recently...and, it’s just shocking to me.
Remember their face. So next time you see them you know what to do!!
Believe me, I do that. Did it to a director already.
So alpha
I say it, but a lot of us are often preoccupied with a lot of crap in our heads, leading complex lives. You're looking for simplicity and small pleasures. It's a different world!
Bay area has people from all over the world. In my country, almost nobody holds the door for the following person. It's just something people don't have in mind (sadly). Maybe the people you talk about just overlook the gesture.
You open doors for people so they can say thank you to do? Does it matter to you that much?
And here comes totally unexpected and needless twist!!
/\/\/\ And here is another useless blind post with no content
Hodor
Sometimes, I don’t like people holding the door for me. It compels me to rush when I would instead prefer to walk to the door at my leisurely pace.
OP, You are a security threat. Stop holding the door open for anyone but your self. You don’t wanna be the guy who let in a bad guy.
