If there's no house at all, it wouldn't make the news, and would still list and sell for a similar price. All the news coverage might have helped boost the sale price though

Everyone getting all worked up… it’s a tear down. Even in the Midwest we have these around popular lakes… $700k+ shacks getting sold because they are going to be knocked down and redeveloped. It’s the land that you’re paying for here.
