How I got my EB-1 Green Card / “Einstein Visa”

I found this on LinkedIn and thought I'd share, he spent time chatting with me and answered all my questions. He's looking to mentor people so wanted to return the favor and spread the word: https://tinyurl.com/EB1-Visa 🇺🇸🗽“The ideal by which equality of opportunity is available to any American, allowing the highest aspirations and goals to be achieved.” — The American Dream. - In 2012, I immigrated to the US with a suitcase, huge pile of books, and an endless hope for pursuing my own American dream. - While the journey has been full of ups-and-downs so far, what has remained constant is a burning desire to learn 📚, grow 🌱 and build something extraordinary 🚀. - Fast forward 7 years, I was granted an EB-1 (Extraordinary Ability Green Card), colloquially known as the “Einstein Visa”, becoming a permanent resident. - I get a ton of questions about obtaining an EB-1; so hope this helps! 🔹 Happy to provide inputs to those who envision to take a similar path 🔹 👉🏼 Why did I do it? - To skip decades of endless wait to get a green card (if you’re born in India) - Preparing for the EB-1 Green Card also paves the way for an O-1 (Extraordinary Ability Visa, that doesn’t undergo a lottery) along the way since the O-1 has a much smaller subset of the EB-1’s requirements - Avoid Visa lottery/renewals and employer sponsorship deciding your fate - Be able to start and invest in ventures and side-hustles 👉🏼 Now, let me break down how I did it: - 20 research publications 📝 spanning multimodal AI, image/speech processing and algorithms - 300+ citations 🧑🏻‍🔬 - 450+ peer reviews 🔎 - 7 patents 🧪 -10+ tech talks 🎙 #workvisa #eb1 #visa #AI #ml

That's too much work, what's your TC and GC category OP?

Amazon LbCq77 Jul 5, 2022

It literally says on the title his GC category! And not everything is about about short term TC

Amazon LbCq77 Jul 5, 2022

People who haven’t gone thru the GC waiting will never appreciate the effort or the post!

Microsoft alxqh48 Jul 5, 2022

So easy? Omg no one told me you only require 300+ citations

Microsoft LordOfTies Jul 6, 2022

AND 20 research publications 📝 spanning multiple topics, 450+ peer reviews, 7 patents and tech talks. Gee, why aren't more people doing this I wonder.

Thanks so much for breaking down how you did it. No one talks about that!

But you just have to spend 10 years in academia! I respect the guys effort, but this is insane, cartoonish even. We'll soon have people seriously suggesting training for 20 years to become a master concert hall pianist to secure gc.

This is the extremely hard way. The easy way is to migrate to Canada or marry US citizen

Or be born in another country. /s
