Wanted to hear some thoughts on how Frontend engineers are preparing for interviews and for their next role? What are some of the things you are focusing on - stack, tools, etc. What resources, websites, subscriptions are you using for your preparation. TC: 120k YOE: 3 years #frontend #google #facebook #netflix #apple #amazon #microsoft #uber #airbnb #intuit #creditkarma #lyft #react
React, React with hooks, react with typescript and did I mention react with redux ?
Close my eyes, throw a dart at a board of topics, study whatever it lands on, and then pray that interviewers actually ask about that. Seriously, front end interviews suck some wicked hard ass. It’s not just Leetcode bullshit but Leetcode bullshit plus every other possible fucking topic, including backend system design for fun because you will almost certainly get an interviewer who doesn’t tailor their questions for the position.
i got passed on once because “i didn’t have enough monorepo experience”. 🤡
😂 not enough monorepo experience! Jeeeeeeeeez… wait until I tell them I have only worked with monoliths! Direct hire! 😂
check out bfe.dev for frontend interview questions, frontend system design guy youtube channel https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vyKhm2NTfw and prepfully.com for frontend mock interviews - their netflix and meta FEEs are the best. good luck!
Most questions I’ve been asked in functional react.
