How bad is it to leave shortly after internal transfer?
I have an offer to change orgs within Unity. The offer is basically a bump in my base salary, nothing else. How bad would it be to accept the offer and leave the company in 3-6 months? (I've been there for >2.5 years. TC: was 200K (CAD), now ~140K (CAD) YOE: 14 #swe #software #engineering
Companies are laying off people left and right. Just leave whenever you feel so, no one’s gives a damn.
You should leave whenever, but just expect for the team not to be happy. A PM just did this in my team and the team would never hire her again, but in that situation would you ever come back anyway?
Yeah, I don't want to burn any bridges, to be honest. I might wanna go back to Unity at one point in the future
Wondering how much pump( as percentage ) you got by that internal transfer ? Was it in the same level?
