Do I need connections or what? I’ve been in the deep learning and computer vision space for some time. The jobs I’ve interviewed with them so far have been only for testing the performance speed of some dnns or needing c++ engineers. But frequently there are phd new grads getting the interesting research jobs. Do these people make connections from conferences or by also cold applying online? What is nvidia’s interview pipeline for the interesting research positions? TC: 200k #nvidia #nvidiacareers
What does interesting research positions mean to you ?
Work that will make an impact in the field of AI. Mainly the computer vision research branch
You need to have at least a couple of CVPR/NeurIPS level publications to be even considered.

Do you have heavily cited publications in the field?
I’ve had a couple of publications at tier 2 conferences. But I’m currently working in an industry research lab that annually publishes in tier 1 conferences. What is the expectation for citations? Does nvidia reach out when a publication gets good traction?
