I was looking at career opportunities at Plaid and noticed they prefer to receive applications via API. Problem is - I have never sent an API call! Can anyone please give me a step-by-step of how to do this?
If you are not able to figure this out, then you should re-evaluate whether you are even suitable for the role.
Just reach out to recruiter on linkedin โ way faster.
Theyโre asking this for a non-engineering role? Why would they do that lol
Itโs optional

Thank you, sodabottle! Appreciate it greatly. (Got an error code though because there is no job ID listed on the site, and it won't go through otherwise)
It's in the URL of the lever page that shows up when you click on "Apply" button on Plaid's job site
๐ i wanna apply to plaid now just because of this
Get on it!
Doesnโt matter whether you use the api or not. I applied through API an online: rejected for both
It is their way of weeding out non tech people. The hiring manager i got had a criminal justice background without any cs bootcamp/education and was hiring a team of swe. Seemed so random.
How did you add your cover letter to the API? Or did you not include it at all?
