How do I stop being so insecure for where I work and where I went to school?
I went to a low tier undergrad and work at a lower tier FANG now although my gig is pretty great (good team and wlb). I constantly feel depressed at how little I’ve accomplished in life without getting into FB internships or getting into MIT or Carnegie Mellon because of my subpar IQ How do I stop before it kills me? Tc: $140k

No one cares about where you went to school - it'll bother you for the first few years but you will get over it eventually
Outside of blind, nobody really cares about prestige. When I told my girlfriend I was interviewing at Amazon and Google, she thought Amazon was cooler, but she really didn’t care as long as I can pay my bills. You’re making over twice the median HOUSEHOLD income and work at a place people are dying to get into so try not to beat yourself up over something that involves a certain amount of luck anyway.

Seriously, talk to a mental health professional. Also half of what people trash Amazon for is the shitty WLB. Your WLB is good and you enjoy the work. I guarantee there are people at both FB and Google that would love to have your job. You are in the 97th percentile for income nationally, you work at a company worth nearly a trillion dollars, thousands would kill to be in your place. Don't be so hard on yourself.
You can always apply to other companies.
