How do I switch to a Technical Management Role without experience as a Manager ?

It's usually a lot easier to get promoted to a lead role at your current company than get hired into one.
There is usually no such thing as a lead role, officially. You can always say you lead a project if it is true.
Current company has too much politics and no culture of internal growth .Besides ,many more experienced people waiting in line for a promotion. StubHub is an EBay Company .Go figure !
Almost everything is a process. Getting the management role without appropriate experience but through additional qualifications is still a process. Instead of spending the time at work, you will be spending the time studying. The only difference is sometimes hands on experience is better than paper qualification.
Get promoted.
