I'm getting 100k/4 years in Salesforce as an AMTS, but I keep hearing that's peanuts, that Salesforce doesn't give refreshers when you get promoted and that I should start interviewing. What exactly am I being deprived of? And any advice on what companies I can target in this economy? I have an offer with Meta for E3. Does joining there sound safe? I hear they have new grads frozen in boot camp, and when the axe falls, they'll be the first to be kicked out. I'm sick of working remotely at SF, and RTO and perks like free food would be a godsend. tc is decent and you're probably getting cheap equity so i'd ride it out. meta e3 - avoid. source: am e3, over performing but expecting Meets All or Exceeds at best during PSC. my stock is a little higher than yours but was awarded 160K at a higher price than today. another reason to ride it out would be that 2+ YOE is a much healthier time to interview since you have some impact under your belt and a track record of delivery/increasing scope. L4/E4 at the same companies goes for 350K+, so why lowball yourself?
Cheaper COL but I’m at 8 YOE with 220k TC. I’d stick with Salesforce. If you don’t like it you can change. But be careful about spending too much effort comparing yourself to others.
People say peanuts because 100k / 4 years is not considered a lot
Except it is for a new grad
For new grad it should be like 30-40k / year
