Especially when you are responsible some important project with deadlines at work and the work requires lot of reading and learning. How do you balance it with interview prep, which is also intensive for the brain? I feel exhausted after working throughout the day and don't feel like preparing for interviews.
Typically,, I neglect the interviewing prep, do my work and live my family life, then bomb the interview. Rinse, repeat, until the stars align
i love your style
This style used to work when interviews used to be easier. With the current interview difficulty even stars can't help.
That's useful, thanks
In a very similar situation and a mommy to one infant and one toddler. I have no energy (mental and physical) to LC. It feels like a vicious circle at the moment. π΅
Honestly, I never understood the point of interview prep. Is the goal to get a job you aren't prepared for?
Try interviewing and come back here please. Wild world with much fierce competition than when you got the job

Women, help me understand why this is inspirational
I would stay at a job which has a lot of learning opportunities.
Yeah, but have to deal with lot of management politics to get even the smallest of the things done. And Amazon doesn't appreciate your hard work throughout the year and gives low annual raises.
