Know they of course have a large San Diego operation. Is there a good chance they’d be flexible with work location, or even working remote (job is not tagged as remote on the job site)?

Question about women in their 30’s?
They are starting the office in July with limited capacity and will start expanding to full by end of this year. They haven’t committed to fully hybrid yet. Having said that, I know few teams in Mountain View who had team members in San Diego and vice versa pre pandemic. It’s doable but was hard to gel with the team. Unless you don’t care about team bonding stuff you should be able to make it work. I will say apply for the jobs and let the recruiter know you won’t be moving out of San Diego. Btw big fan of San Diego
Really appreciate the insight, think I’ll give it a shot! Do you by chance have any tips on getting my foot in the door? Should I ask around for a referral? For reference this is a non-tech position and I have 10 YOE (listing requires 5).
Sorry I missed your message. Yes I can refer you. Send me a DM.
Depends on team. In general Intuit is very flexible. My team has people working from multiple offices + completely remote employees
Thanks, that’s really helpful! Do you by chance have any tips on getting my foot in the door? Should I ask around for a referral? For reference this is a non-tech position and I have 10 YOE (listing requires minimum of 5).
Depends on the team. My manager is in MTV and i know a few other people from different teams with similar setups.
Yes MTV / SD is a very common location split
Appreciate that! Do you by chance have any insight into how Intuit is handling go forward work from home flexibility?
They’re doing hybrid model long term, 2-3 days in the office but that won’t even be mandatory until early 2022. I do think they’d be open to you being in SD but it’s highly team dependent. Most of my team is jn MTV while im in SD
