How hard is it to find a job right now?
Asking for a friend. They were at Twitch and SDE1. About 1.5 yoe maybe 2. Laid off and looking for a job now. Where should they look?
It is not that difficult unless you can leetcode reasonably well. Expect the job market to get better soon around March - June. I see lot of recruiter hiring nowadays
A little, I’m on the same boat with similar YOE. Got laid off back in November but rejected because of lesser YOE in some interviews but still unemployed
Awful. This job market SUCKS. Especially for remote work.

Then they’ll look for something outside of tech partially instead of investing all their time into leetcode
It's hard because with that YOE, you aren't considered mid level and entry level positions are rare in this market
