New grad finance role at Merrill lynch to a swe role, specifically.
Tell them to talk to the program managers for the new grad Tech Development programs and get their thoughts on hiring into the next class. Some hiring managers don’t care about the tech background if they expect you can learn it. Also- and I mean this seriously, not in some sarcastic way: if your friend is a female then she’s in. They have a hard time meeting the gender splits they want in the Tech Dev Program and will take someone from any major long as they say they’re interested in learning.
Forgot to mention- it’ll be called Global Technology Analyst Program unless they recently changed it again.
Hey I found the program. Thanks for the reply btw! Do you know where they could find who the program managers are by any chance
Finance role as in fp&a?
Not sure what exactly his role is. They help investors invest but he’s obviously still in training
Did you study comp sci or go to a coding boot camp?
I’m actually asking for a friend. They did neither. But I’ve been seeing posts by bofa employees talking about a few teams are taking anybody just to fill the swe roles they have and training them on the job
