I just took a job which requires 5 years of tableau experience. I’ve used very basic tableau features back in 2016 which helped me clear the take home and interview questions. Now while I’m actually in the job, everyone is looking at me to implement complicated shît and I know pretty much nothing I’m watching videos, but I feel the ramp up is slow. How hard is tableau? I have some basic experience in PowerBI, tableau. Solid SQL skills, basic Python and advanced R. My job requires only tableau and SQL Anybody willing to help me out? I am willing to pay
Watch one of those 60 tableau tricks in 60 mins videos and you’ll be set!
Gotcha
Extremely hard. I would brush up on your advanced calculus and writing ML concept proofs by hand. Not because you will need them, but because that's the level of mental stimulation you will need just to grasp the basics of such a complex tool. Consider going back to school for a master's.
:B
To start, I’d recommend registering for TC ‘22 and watching a few of their sessions (free). Get used to use cases and syntax. It’s just like learning SQL, you’ll get it with practice
Thanks!
Can try to help. Would need to happen over the weekend or late evenings EST though. I've build numerous dashboards on tableau and can navigate without much trouble. You can dm me
There are certifications provided by the company that might help? You might be able to expense the cost.
