After I ordered a protein supplement on Amazon, I keep seeing ads of natural dietary supplements like ginger and peppermint softgels (claim to improve digestion), or fennel, curcumin, and turmeric tablets (claim to improve immunity, joint and brain functions). Anyone had experience using them?

Depends on the supplement. Curcumin is a great alternative to ibuprofen as an anti-inflammatory. Re: the rest, it depends on the specific ingredients, and even if they are all natural and do what theyβre marketing, unless you have a specific need in a particular area, they often arenβt worth the money.
I see that you are fond of throwing money away... Why not just eat healthy food?
Most of it is bullshit at best, unregulated poison at worst.
I use these spices fresh while cooking my food. Have had some relief: ginger, mint and fenugreek seeds for digestion, Turmeric/ curcumin for overall well being, etc. Buy them fresh and use them: more tasty and cost effective than those softgels π
