How is Hartford, CT?
I am planning to move Hartford, CT. Office is in Glastonebury. I know Hartford, CT, small and not much urban life which is okay for me. I have one school K-5 kid , so I would like to know about schools and good neighborhoods to live. I want my kid should get friends and be happy. Current TC: 92K New TC: 165k

Itโs a dump. Some of the suburbs near there are nice.
I would absolutely not live in Hartford. Itโs rundown and unsafe. West Hartford or something in the Farmington Valley would be much better for your childโs education and safety.

Hartford gets a bad rap, but itโs really not that bad. I love Hartford and the surrounding towns.
Glastonbury and Farmington are good places. Overall CT is going to be cold for 6 months with snow. I hope you are ok with Cold and Snow.

Farmingtonโs nice. Friend grew up there.
I lived in Hartford CT while my daughter was in PreK and hated it. Itโs not the safest place. I moved to East Hartford which is closer to Glastonbury and like it a lot. Look at the Woodcliff Estate apartment complex great amenities and decent price.

Try Greenwich in Connecticut which is safest because it is costliest
Very nice. I have family (originally form the Midwest) that lives there now and they love it. Great schools, chill people, etc.
