How is Magic Leap?
I heard from a recruiter about a product role at Magic Leap, and I'm intrigued. How are things going there on the inside? Would I be nuts to move to Florida?

Tragic Heap
I've been at the company for some time now. I enjoy it very much and don't agree with the above commenters (who clearly haven't worked at ML). ML, just like every other company, has amazing teams and not-amazing-teams. There can be a lot of pressure, which has mostly calmed down since launch, but if you can deal with that, then ML is great. I'm challenged everyday to find solutions that don't exist and I'm constantly learning. I honestly can't ask for anything more than that. I'd rather be here than at Microsoft, Google, Cisco, Amazon, etc.

It is a great time to make an impact for the Product team, as it is growing.
Yeah I signed up for their pilot program, and they're offering their limited edition devices on credit. The fact that those didn't sell like hot cakes in few weeks, is really telling. If you already have a good job, don't do it.
