How is Oracle compared to FAANG companies in India?
How was your experience at Oracle Pune / Hyderabad / Bangalore?
Just go to the office for lunch 😂 heard from my friends, one is in day trading and other one is preparing for IAS.
In terms of learning : Very very bad. In terms of pay : Comparable but not high. In terms of WLB : Heaven In terms of Food: Google and Uber serve better!
They grossly underpay lateral hires and treat them as 3rd class employees. There are chances a lateral hire manager is getting less pay than 2 level college hire junior. They don't give a damn about it. People have their egos and most of the time the top management is involved in ego clashes.
If you join at a good package and don't want to grow further and live your life of your own , It is the place to be , Downside after few years you are almost dumb technically , Afraid to appear for interviews , Have to think twice and thrice to write in your cv about what I have learned and what are my achievements ... Choice is yours
Facing the same every day now. I wish I realised this early on.
Don't worry use it for good prepare well and huntdown a better and challenging opportunity... You have all the that time here in Oracle.
