How is Slalom different from the Big4?
How is Slalom in terms of TC, work-life-balance, career growth compared to Deloitte and Accenture? I know that Deloitte pays peanuts and has a bad reputation for WLB. I have heard better things about Slalom. Is it possible to gain technical skills in Data analytics through working for Slalom, or is it mostly creating powerpoint slides?!! I am graduting this Spring ... Slalom did not recruit from my university in Chicago. Accenture and Deloitte did.
I have a friend at Slalom and they enjoy it. WLB is ok, I know they work very late hours, but it may be partly by choice too. Pay is middle of the road. Not as much constant travel as Iโve seen from my friend at Accenture.
Which office are you considering ? Silicon Valley office pays ๐ฅ
Chicago I know that the big4 pays 80k in SF for entry level analyst which is not that different from their Chicago office

We use slalom a lot in Chicago โ they have a solid WLB and I feel like theyโre more long-term than Deloitte. We also use Deloitte but they are standard 6-12wk SOW. Slalom folks are practically in-house at this point.
Slalom is an exit path for Big4 looking for no travel and better WLB. When I was there, the culture was pretty awesome..pay was just so-so. I think they still struggle with shedding the technology staff aug firm label.
You a hands on guy or a pro bulshitter ? If the latter, youโll exceed exceptionally well at deloitte
I spoke to someone from Slalom..she was v happy with the WLB. TC ia decent. Do not know about career growth.
