Zillow folks!! How do you like working at Zillow? Would you recommend working here?
The app immediately attached the company review page with Zillow 4.1 star. You can close the thread.
Just joined loving it so far
Hi. I am looking to move to Zillow and would like to know more about Zillow. Would you be willing to help answer some questions?
You will have to hide your politics and drink the flavor aid and you will be fine.
As long as you pretend to be super woke and join an affinity network it’s amazing place to work!
It really depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for good growth and challenging problems, then it largely depends on your team and manager. Sometimes it’s hard to get a project that fits your goal but good managers will help you find these. But there is also a good amount of bs and politics that if you are unlucky you may run into these and have a bad time. If you are looking for wlb and stability then Zillow is the place to be. I see people go on not delivering anything meaningful for years and still stick around with decent salary. Definitely not a bad thing from that employee’s perpective. And I consider Zillow a place I d happily retire at but not a place for long term growth
What kind of politics have you noticed?
It’s a lot of group identity politics.
Love it!!
It really depends on what team you are on and your manager. I have been at Zillow for 5+ years and am still growing, inspired, and doing great work. The work life balance is great, our HR team is wonderful, and we have hands down the best IT team I have ever worked with.
Generally, yes.
Yes it’s great. I’m learning a ton and it’s challenging but rewarding since people actually use our website a lot and it’s easy to see impact.
Absolutely. It has a good balanced culture where you'll rarely be bored but at the same time rarely ve stressed out.
