How is the Amazon Video Search & Discovery team?
What's the tech stack / ops load like? Has anyone heard good or bad things about it?
Prime Video overall is a shit show of incompetent leaders. Lack of vision and death marches that still miss committed dates are the norm, as is high OE burden. There are a few teams in PV that are decent (I don't know if Search & Discovery is one of them), but generally I would stay away from PV.
They're the org that interviewed me so not sure if I have much of a choice? Don't know how this process usually goes
Nothing is perfect.. OP dont worry to much. Think positively about the opportunity.
Oh yeah!! I'm very excited about this opportunity. The biggest thing I'm really worrying about is moving cross country and being long distance for a year :(
