Hey Reddit employees, how is work & culture there? What about perks & compensation? Should I come join you?
Yes! Which team?
Please check your DM! It would be great if you can talk about the Reddit overall, there's nothing on Blind from Reddit employees!
WLB is good, company cares a lot about us, there’s plenty of room to grow imo and great challenges with it. we have great perks, check levels.fyi, and comp is getting competitive as of late, but probably not yet faang level.
I love working at Reddit. WLB is great, and the problems are challenging.
Love working here, haven’t had Sunday scaries since I started
What are the front end interviews like?
Is it easy to ladder transfer within Reddit? For non-tech
This is likely an org specific question. I think there are a lot of unhappy people at Reddit but, again, it likely depends on the org. Double click on company growth rates, how stable roadmaps are, how much the org values planning vs feeling a need to shift priorities frequently, how well utilized your functional area is (are you frequently on loan because your org can’t lock plans). I’d also closely look at leadership. Where do they come from, and what values are they bringing from prior work places into Reddit. Good luck.
What can you tell us about the pulse on the different orgs?
I’ve heard good things about the ads org. Strong leadership. Again, could be function specific. There are certainly orgs to stay away from but I don’t want to post it publicly. Ask the questions I suggested. Should help you figure out if it’s the group you are talking to.
