Have interview coming up. I graduated last year with dual degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering. Is Deloitte Business Tech Analyst a good place to start career if I have goals to go into management. Or should I stick to a more tech path and try for FAANG for now?
If you hate money, join big4. Otherwise, tech all the way.
It's good. But ofc if you get a role as a dev in a tech company I would take that (assume you wanna do SWE at FAANG?) Some projects are hit or miss but they are some good PM like projects at BTA. I tend to give BTA interns advantage over other big 4 roles when applying for PM program
Am currently a BTA, it's a great way to get into software development, analytics, really anything technical cuz most people have no computer science knowledge at all. If you want to get into management it's a fast way up but imo it's mostly BS
Depends on project but pay would be very less for BTA. Though u would learn lot of politics.
Opting for a tech path is always a good choice, if you wanna go into management. You’ll get a engineer’s perspective on a product. I was in a similar situation a few weeks ago. Decided to go for tech.
