I left Salesforce for a competitor a while back. I don’t know if I was marked as a “regretted attrition” or not. I wasn’t laid off or fired or on a PIP, however I know my AVP wasn’t my biggest fan (they left SFDC shortly after I did), so I don’t know how I was denoted when I left. If I was not marked as a regretted attrition, how long would I be denoted in the system that way. 5 years? Forever? Thanks Blind tax: TC:$350k YOE: 10
Why would you want to come to salesforce . The my just instituted 5% pip
Oooof, that’s terrible. So sorry to hear.
Meaning they will pip 5% of employees?
There is so much turnover in a MNC. I really doubt there is a blacklist.
There’s no permanent record. I know people who left and came back less than 6 months later. Only thing that matters is your reference that you list, and that the interviewers like you.
Why does it matter?
Fair question. (1) I’m not sure if layoffs will happen in my current org, and I like to keep my options open in the current atmosphere. If I’m not blacklisted (or if I was but it expires after a while), there are some roles open that I think I could snag easily, if there’s a wave of layoffs in my current org. (2) I might be pregnant (too early to officially confirm), and the mat leave at SFDC is genuinely amazing.
All that are why decisions have consequences
