How many people at each Level at Amazon (or percentage distribution)?
Hi all- I recently accepted a position at Amazon, and am now forwarding a couple of open positions to friends of mine. One question that keeps coming up is salary at different levels. That prompted a related question: What is the breakdown of how many staff are at each level? Level - 1 through Jeff Bezos Does anyone have information, or a source of information?
I think there is one Bezos.
But how many Jeffbots?
Ask SeattleChatter, someone on there should have a good info graphic for you. It's almost the same number of 4, 5, 6 until you get to 7 you're still deep in the rat race.
Thanks for the info. I wonder how it compares to the other FAANG companies, and what, if anything, that implies about the efficiency of pivots and/or movement into new business areas.

If you try to plot, then it will be a bell curve where top of the curve is mostly L5 and L6
I don't think you are correct. That would imply that there are as many people at L-1 as at the top. That seems unlikely (!) It should be an exponential decay. It is monotonic, negative, and never reaches zero.
L1-L3 is warehouse? That makes up a huge %. Just counting Corp, I’d say Sub L3 20%, L4 27%, L5 40%, L6 10%, L7 2% L8+ 1%.
