How much Java vs C++ code at Facebook NYC?
Starting as a senior engineer at Facebook NYC soonish. Most of my prior experience is in Java (backend engineering). Should I brush up on C++ before I start, assuming I want to keep doing backend (no Android)? #facebook #facebooknyc

They mostly hack stuff, so they use hack these days

fb nyc engineer here. No java backend team afaik, some ads backend uses a mix of c++/hack. (More than 60% hack)
Heard the only place of Java is in android
