Hello, I am currently going to school in Texas and my area is "machine learning" with the focus on "computer vision" (I also have some previous experience doing natural language processing (NLP)). Just wonder if there is any company in Texas that has machine learning engineer position, and if yes, what does the TC look like? I think it will be a lot less in the bay area, right? I have been going to school there and I have been trying to figure out what the TC is like if I stay there for work after graduation. If anyone has been working in the machine learning or related filed in Texas, can you please shed some light on it? Thanks.

Depends on your background, what’s your degree, Master PhD ? What’s your school, UT Rice ? Do you have paper published? Working experience, intern? Connection ?
