For a channel with 5 million subscribers, 1 billion views, how much gross revenue does that bring? Is roughly 1 dollar per subscriber a good estimate? Only counting from YouTube ads, not external sponsorships etc. #youtube
Subscribers don’t matter only views. The amount varies too much based on audience, anywhere from 50cents to 30$ per 1k views. Also keep in mind that some videos might not be monetized at all (for example if they used copyrighted content like music etc.).
Billion views is rare
It depends on the content. Finance videos get better $$$.
The other factors is maintaining the high levels of success. Lots of creators lose steam and viewership drops and they go from making lots of money to barely anything. The big YouTube stars like mr beast are one in millions.
Depends on content. look for socialblade.com
Which domain is that channel - finance, kids, politics, etc? The ad cpm varies by domain.
